This replacement might be too little too late. I never was a Trump supporter, but I was impressed with how he managed the media and has been able to identify the hot buttons of blue collar and middle class Americans.
But since Indiana when Cruz and Kasich threw in the towel, he and his organization have taken the golden goose to the butcher shop. He had a Republican Party that was ready to hoist him on their shoulders and push his rich rump into the White House. But he has just picked more fights with allies than any politician in history.
If he does not show that he can lead those that want to follow him, this thing will be over after Cleveland. IMHO his VP pick needs to be a big name Republican establishment (Kasich, Rubio, Romney, Bush, ???) person he does not insult during his acceptance speech. If he does not unify the GOP in the next 60 days, November is going to be a Dem rout.
