Not sure if anyone caught this article in the Wall St. Journal which alludes to the potential for United Airlines to start service to Manhattan, Kansas. If so, this would be huge news. Though no details are given, IF United did start service to MHK, Houston and/or Denver would seem to be logical routes. This would be an excellent compliment to American Airlines and provide one stop service to a great many more destinations... places like Auckland, Buenos Aires, Istanbul... and dozens of new destinations in the U.S. and in Latin America. Has anyone local heard rumors along these lines? Seriously hoping there was some basis for this mention...
