I was thinking about coming to Manhattan Saturday and spending the night after the game. Normally, I book rooms using points (or at least stay at the chains where I can earn more points when rates are cheap like they are this weekend).
Out of curiosity, I checked the Bluemont Hotel. It was basically $200 including tax and decided it wasn't worth it to me. I have never used VRBO before, but have checked it on occasion and decided to for the heck of it. I noticed the Bluemont is listed there and with tax is only $136 and that rate has me interested because I have heard such good things about the hotel.
I am assuming there are no other additional fees or anything that I need to worry about. Is that correct?
