Is this a new thing for schools to try and get walk-on's? I see Gunhard (sp) has now been offered a walk on status but with a promise of getting a scholarship after 2 years by ku and another school. Since when has this become a thing? Is this their new way of trying to beat out KSU for walk ons or is this something we do as well??
First I have heard of such an offer. I would think kids/parents would be a little leery of this as being a walk on and you don't pan out, why the heck would the school give you a scholly after 2 years if they know you won't be a player for them?
