I was back in Manhattan for the weekend. Hadn't been back for a couple years....The city looks great! You can tell that there is a move to push Manhattan forward. Lots of new shopping centers, and the campus is full of construction. Came away with a sense of pride because of the feeling I got that KSTATE and Manhattan was doing everything it could to be a part of the future.

I took my daughter to the KSU vball camp and just wanted to say that the team is full of great players and better women. The interaction with the kids was pretty amazing. Coach Fritz was awesome, and the assistants did a great job of teaching. Was worth the money and time to go.

I also spoke with a certain former football coaches wife...she was very kind and complimentary of KSU and her time there. She came back to support Eric Wolford's charity foundation event. She was very candid about why they left...I just want to say that we should all be very thankful that we have the assistant coaches we do. The amount of time they put in is unrivaled among Big 12 schools and beyond. Our coaches work more hours than anyone out there. I came away thinking about the sacrifice the coaches and their families make for KSU football to be successful. Let's be thankful we have coaches willing to put in the time necessary to make KSU football what it is.
