I’m in Orlando (prescheduled trip) for MBB, but Ayoka Lee won’t play tonight against Baylor after only playing 5 minutes in their win vs Kansas.
I haven’t heard anything to indicate that it’s a serious injury, but K-State will obviously take it slow with her.
Mittie will speak postgame, so I imagine we’ll get a clearly response then.
Update: Mittie expressed concern about Lee’s foot. Said it’s more sore than they’d like. Her status for Iowa State is up in the air, they’ll consult with doctors and others to come to a decision.
Overall, not amazing news but doesn’t appear to be season ending. They’d like her back for the Big 12 Tournament later this month.
