What if Kstate coming into it's own in the mid 90s, before big media contracts and the landscape of college football changed had went independent to start the 96 season?
Remember there would have been 11 other independent schools at that time and schools were still semi focused on regional scheduling. I think Kstate in that time with Snyder in his prime still win 10+ a year and still play quite a few big8 rivals. Where would Kstate be today and do we play for a national title at all as an independent?
