Kendrid Weseman (sp?) - who is K-State's star basketball guard - I'd scarcely heard of her either - won the 3 point contest here in Phoenix last night. She easily won the women's competition then she beat the men's champ, who is from Kenya, I believe, but played for the Hawkeyes.
Really cool. Kendrid is such a classy young lady!! I was so proud to claim her as one of the Family.
