Playoff begins with all lower seeds getting home games. Then after round 1, playoff proceeds like it does now, winners advance to Rose and Sugar bowls. Round 1 losers are selected to their respective bowl games.
This is the way to do it. Would be fun for everyone and definitely makes more sense to include all power 5 champs and 3 at large bids is just right.
