So I couldn't sleep anticipating the game today so I thought I'd post my thoughts on the massive changes that have occurred the last 24 hours.
What have I learned the last 24 hours? Fitz and his staff AND Rivals have been slacking on content and recruiting efforts/posting the last several years. Both sites have brought their "A game" the last 24 hours and it shows. Both have been cruising with a lack luster effort the last few years and the people that have suffered are the people who have purchased accounts here. I think the way everything went down is shady on both sides as there was "insider knowledge" everywhere. What Rivals has done about getting an extra year out of you is unethical. The comments Fitz and staff have made on social media or the other web-site are questionable at best. Unfortunately, that's the corporate world and we have to deal with the situation.
The competition of both web-sites will help both products but ultimately one site will survive. The real winners in all of this will be the fans.
My plan for the next 4 months is to give both sites a chance and view and post in both places and make a decision of where I will end up at that point and time. Ultimately I will make a decision based on accurate insider information which is what I've always wanted from this site. Sadly that rarely came from the former moderators and more and more often it came from the message board only. I'm also looking for a message board that doesn't constantly attack and berate it's posters. The last several years it has been brutal to anyone that posts the occasional insider information. Let's remember we are all here to be Wildcat fans first and foremost.
I must admit the content here today has been impressive and only hope the moderators continue their impressive work.
