I don't really have a purpose writing this, just wanted to get some things off my chest before I start drinking. Things that I'm sure many of you all are feeling as well.

- The KSO staff and informed folks like @TX and @Purple South have been amazing this entire time. We're lucky to have them. This has been an insanely fluid situation, from Snyder to Littrell, and they've handled it as well as you possibly can without stumbling over their own feet or burning sources. Kudos to you guys.

- I'm still furious that our administration let SL slip away. There's a lot being floated out there as to why, I understand that — SL and his agent probably didn't do ADGT any favors. But this is the second-most important hire in this program's history. You don't let your top candidate (not counting BV since it's clear it was almost assuredly not going to happen) walk that late in the process with so much at stake.

- I will be OK with ADGT if he's able to salvage this unfortunate situation and get Norvell (or Brown). He's no SL or BV in my book, so I won't be as stoked (and, thus, as quick to praise ADGT), but still someone young with FBS experience that could inject energy into this and spur recruiting efforts.

- IF it ends up being Klieman, I'm 10000% out on supporting ADGT, as I've said numerous times this morning in my fiery rage. I won't harp on the reasons why it's an embarrassing hire from an optics and resume perspective - that's been said dozens of times on this board - but you just can't swing and miss like we have and then turn to your buddy who's not at all qualified and antithetical to the reason we moved on from Snyder in the first place.

- Regardless of what happens, we need a new driven, bold University president and not a lame-duck individual who's essentially just cashing checks and playing buddy-buddy with certain people as he rides into the sunset. I know this probably has little to do with the SL situation but it's something that affects K-State athletics and our amazing University as a whole.

- I've gotten pretty livid today, with the situation in general and with how some posters on here have either 1) accepted it 2) tried to justify the lack of results coming from our leadership or 3) just been (IMO) dumb and not able to grasp facts or situations, but I genuinely love KSO and so many of you posters. I met @Aggievillain and his wife this past weekend in Milwaukee, gotten to know @scottwildcat and @grant_ksu, all because of this community. I sincerely hope we're able to celebrate a (obviously subjective) good hire next week, but either way, I ride with this site and the care that goes into it from so many different people.

Have a good weekend. Drink a lot. Beat Tulsa. Love you.
