We are the ONLY P5 conference with a "true" champion anyway, and the idiots that didn't present our "true" champion based on head to head a few years ago are going to come back to haunt us again, I believe.
When we split into divisions (after adding more teams?), then it would make sense to me to add a "championship" game. I can't wrap my head around making OU play OSU again, or potentially an OU vs. TCU rematch, OSU vs. TCU, etc....
Unless the Big 12 brass has a stated goal to do as much as possible to hinder the league's ability to get into the playoff...until all league champs are in the playoff, this CCG makes no sense.
