"Last year, our freshmen, when we lost to North Carolina, it took two weeks to get them back," associate head coach Chris Lowery said on Thursday's Big 12 teleconference. "They really melted down, and we couldn't get them back. Then we get a big win against Oklahoma, then we don't compete the rest of the way like we need to."
