The list:
Mike Moore = assuming he has fully recovered from injury
Will Davis = steady as he goes... I'm guessing Davis will start the first game
Elijah Lee = speed on the edge
Sam Sizelove (has received some good practice pub).
Trent Tanking (up & comer)
The New Comers:
Jayd Kirby (Juco transfer ... sorry ku... )
Reggie Walker (Reggie is listed as a D-end on the roster)
Elijah Sullivan (former Auburn recruit)
Chase Johnston (sleeper)
Justin Hughes (gray shirt from 2014 class ?)
Will a new comer earn a starting spot by the time that the CATS roll into Stillwater ?
Reggie Walker has probably received the most fan fare as far as new comers, but I wouldn't count out Elijah Sullivan, who was actually ranked slightly higher than Reggie... both received 5.7 ratings per Rivals, but Elijah was listed as the #28 OLB overall (Reggie #35 ). As noted above, Mr. Walker is listed as a D-end on the K-State roster ??
Speaking of true freshmen, Chase Johnston could be a surprise at MLB. He has a listed 4.52 - 40 (very fast for a 6'3" - 220 pounder, though Rival's listed 40 times are not always accurate). Chase received some good pub at summer camps last June/ July.
Then there's Jayd Kirby. He was quoted as saying that he ran a 4.59 this past Spring... also not bad for a 220 pounder. Kirby had some impressive numbers in his first year at Juco.
Which linebackers do you predict will be starting when the CATS begin Big 12 play against Okie State ?
I'm going with Moore, Lee, and ?????
