Two of the Royals best pitching prospects started games tonight with mixed results. The good news was Zimmer pitched 4 innings (59 pitches) at Double-A giving up one run with no walks and six K's. Staumont (he of the 102 mph fastball) started for Omaha tonight and gave up seven runs in less than four innings. Good to see that Zimmer appears to be healthy this year - will be a valuable addition mid-season if he develops as expected.
