Adding Ward and bringing Brooks back makes me very optimistic for this offense next year. The whole O-Line returns. Howard and Sinnott have great chemistry. Giddens, Ward and Brooks provide some experienced stability and playmaking. Need two or three receivers to break through somewhere but everything else is a strength.

A few comments about a reporter asking Tang about Texas. What if, in light of the chaos in the Tx bb situation, key players from the team entered the transfer portal and wound up at KSU. I have no idea what prior relationship or recruitment existed with any of those players and our current coaching staff.

The big 12 really laid an egg this bowl season. TTech was the only winner. TCU did beat Michigan but were certainly non competitive in the championship game. Herbstreit implied near the end of the game that the big 12 isn’t ready to play against the SEC. We didn’t look good in our bowl game and TCU didn’t look good tonight. So it is hard to argue the point. Of course when some of the best players in the country are going to the “elite” teams it is hard to compete. There isn’t a level playing field but I don’t have any idea in how to change it.

I realize it is early in his tenure, but if it was up to me, I would be working on re-working Tang's contract.
