Conference champion 2023?

Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

We’ve seen K-State win a conference title with our own eyes. If a team knows how to win the Big 12, the Wildcats are that team. Will Howard has a case as the top returning quarterback in the league while receiver Phillip Brooks, Florida State running back transfer Treshaun Ward and backup running back DJ Giddens return. And while some don’t see much value in a veteran-laden offensive line, experience is about as valuable at that position as any other. Losing running back Deuce Vaughn might cut into the team’s explosiveness, believe it or not. Even so, Kansas State is perhaps the safest pick to reach the championship game. For that reason, the Wildcats have a great chance of winning the league title.

Mike Lindell

As my mother was wont to say "ignorance gone to seed"

Mike Lindell announces that he has spent over $40 million trying to overturn the election and he needs help. So, he says he is going to allow people to “buy stock” in Lindell TV: “I want every person out there to have a little piece of the pie.”

Basketball recruiting A note on RayJ Dennis

Toledo transfer PG and MAC Player of the Year RayJ Dennis is on campus in Illinois on Thursday for a visit. Baylor and K-State have been fighting for a visit as well for Dennis, who has been strongly connected to Illinois since he entered the transfer portal.

Dennis averaged 19.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.8 assists a game last season for Toledo. He made 36.5 percent of his 3-point attempts and excelled in pick-and-roll actions. Defensively he graded in the 72nd percentile according to Synergy. He had 1.5 steals per game last season.

Illinois is considered the favorite for Dennis, who grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and they have gotten his first visit. But Jerome Tang and Scott Drew could also receive a visit from one of the better PGs to enter the transfer portal this spring.

Bill Barr

“If you believe in his policies, what he’s advertising as his policies, he’s the last person that could actually execute them and achieve them,” Barr, a longtime ally of Trump, replied to Rivera at a City Club of Cleveland luncheon Friday in Ohio

Trump, who is currently running to retake the White House in the 2024 election, “does not have the discipline. He does not have the ability for strategic thinking and linear thinking or setting priorities, or how to get things done in the system,” Barr continued.
“It is a horror show when he’s left to his own devices,” the ex-attorney general added. “So, you may want his policies, but Trump will not deliver Trump policies. He will deliver chaos.”

If Barr had grown a pair eight years ago, he could have spared us the debacle that was the trump term in office. Forgot to mention how Barr and Mitch were in cohoots and have since seen the error of their ways.
