It has been a while since we did a mailbag and I figured with the offseason in full swing, but visits coming for football and basketball still trying to figure out their roster it would be a good time. Kansas State’s offense is dangerous in different ways than other Big 12 offenses. Offensive coordinator Collin Klein has a better passing version of himself in Will Howard at quarterback. The skill players add up to a winning offensive formula. And as we’ve noticed before, head coach Chris Klieman is a master at getting creative in the running game up front.

NCAA Baseball Selection Show at 11 AM on ESPN2. D1 Baseball had the cats out in their last projection, other projections still had the Cats in. Their last half of the year really helped them and they have series wins over Oklahoma and Texas Tech, other fringe tourney teams.

We expect a commitment for football today, a story is ready to go and will be published once that happens.

If anything surprising happens or other coverage is needed, it will have to wait for the evening as I’m playing in a golf tournament with a couple of guys, including @gabeswartz.
