Not liking the locations that are starting to be associated with K-State. Unfortunately, the NCAA Tournament has a lot of 1st and 2nd round locations this year that are not very close to many of their good teams. Need Wichita, Omaha, Oklahoma City, Fort Worth, St Louis and some others to be in the mix more often.

Before we go any further

Thank you to the coaching staff of our bb team for putting together a team that had only 2 players, getting them to trust each other and to play as a team.

A special thanks to Coach Tang for rallying the fans and the students behind this team. I, for one, am glad he was able to stop the ugly (my opinion) chant from the student section.

Thank you to Ish and Nowell for sticking around and being an integral part of the success this team has had this year.

Thank you for the players that joined this team, put their egos aside, gave full effort to help gain a level of success that very few thought would happen.

Thank you for all involved that made KSU men’s basketball relevant again.

Any success from here on out is icing on the cake.

Let’s talk Felix Anudike

I’m rather bullish in thinking he is going to be really good. I believe him to be 6’2.5”, maybe 6’3” and he is likely in that 215-220 range right now. His natural pass rushing abilities are obvious. Fluid athlete who appears to play a little stronger than his size and he is definitely a fast twitch guy. The fact that he triple jumped 46’7” last Spring is just obscene for a kid going to play DE in college.

I picture this kid around 250 in a few yrs and just a terror in the Big 12 as a pass rusher.

I think part of the reason he wasn’t that highly recruited is that he weighed 190 lbs as of May 2018. That probably didn’t help his prospects for a kid going into his junior year. He wasn’t necessarily a kid some might have envisioned getting to a more ideal weight that satisfies their desire for the position. I was watching some of his senior yr basketball highlights on his hudl and he looks noticeably bigger than the clip I saw of him at a May 2018 combine.

I just feel like this kid is going to be a big steal.
