I thought this was an interesting stat. I know many of these teams are somewhere between bad and awful, but basketball is a game of upsets and it is not uncommon to see some teams in this range jump up and pull some upsets.

10 of these 26 games were against P5 schools (Georgia, Ole Miss, OK St x 3, TCU x 2, Wash St, Mizzou, and Boston College. We went 9-1 in these 10 games.

14 of these 26 games were against schools that had an RPI between 50 and 200. We went 13-1 in these games.

9 of these games were played away from Bramlage Coliseum (4 road / 5 neutral). We went 8-1. Which makes us 17-0 at home.

We won 20 of the 26 games we played against teams with RPIs > 50 by double digits.

OBVIOUSLY, WE NEED TO DO BETTER AGAINST THE TOP TEAMS. (2-16 against RPI Top 50). However, given our lack of depth, talent, and experience going into last season I found it encouraging that we have done a pretty good job of taking care of business against the lessers.

We have 12 games left on our schedule (not counting Big 12 Tourney) against teams currently outside of the RPI Top 50. If we can continue to hold up in these games we could be looking at 22-9 to end the season.
