Anyone switch from Cox internet to AT&T?

I'm finally ditching Cox cable and going to Direct TV. I can save quite a bit more money if I switch my internet service to AT&T, but I'm nervous to do so. AT&T currently only has 12mbps available in my neighborhood. I currently have 50mbps with Cox. Would I see a significant difference?
