Watching #20 K-State vs. #5 Auburn on YouTube right now. Thursday night game on ESPN and the atmosphere looks awesome on TV. What were some of the best games in BSFS the past decade? There have been some good ones. My list:
2011 KSU vs #15 Baylor W 36-35. Great crowd, we pick off RG3.
2011 KSU vs Texas A&M W 53-50. 4 OT vs Ryan Tannehill
2012 #21 KSU vs Miami W 52-13. Destroying Miami was fun.
2012 #7 KSU vs #23 Texas W 42-24. Cats win 2nd Big 12 championship. Willie on pressbox.
2014 #20 KSU vs #5 Auburn L 14-20. Should have won, still a lot of fun.
2019 KSU vs #5 Oklahoma W 48-41. Been awhile since we had a big time home win.
Looking back on those seasons 2015-2018 were brutal. Slow starts, bad atmospheres, Snyder fatigue. Just felt stuck but I'm glad we are moving forward now with some optimism and excitement again. I'm looking forward to getting revenge and destroying Vandy this year and beating an overrated Texas team.
