My previous thread about blue bloods struggling makes me wonder who some of the best coaches are vs best managers of talent. Mark Few I think has proven to be top notch, Rick Barnes I think is a good coach. Brad stevens and John Beilein were really good coaches. It definitely takes talent to win but I feel Bill Self as well as some others are showing they aren’t as much X’s and O’s as Jimmy’s and Joe’s. They have been getting run out of the gym a few times.
Chris Beard is proving himself as a great coach. He has pretty good talent but I think he’s a really good coach. Kruger has done a great job. I have such a hatred for ku and so my glasses get fogged but I am putting self middle of the conference with equal talent.
