I suppose I believe basketball has changed a lot from the pre aau days to now and as much as coaching mattered then it does today but in a different way. I used to think Roy Williams was a great coach while at KU and I do think he is a good coach but in the ACC he has real competition and that limits my viewpoint some. I may be under the impression that The KU program, in the pedestrian BIg 12, makes good coaches look great. You win the league every year and if you have the right team you can go far in the tourny. They have really good players but this year they were average and still win the league. Never should they be dismantled by wsu like that either.
