My last trip to a game in Manhattan was senior day 2014. A few thoughts.
Stayed in the new Courtyard in Aggieville, what a great location for a nice hotel! Goolsbys is fun to check out and the new parking garage next to the old Varneys will be nice!
The stadium is beautiful and looks complete. Whoever donated to help make it happen thank you. The new sound system was awesome too! Lines at halftime did impact people getting back for the start of the half where OU scored twice quickly before the stadium turned itself back “on” so to speak.
It was great seeing Sproles and the others honored at the half. The energy was electric most of the game and I am glad the rain stayed away. The F OU chants was appreciated for me personally and somewhat wish the whole stadium would have followed the student sections lead. We expected Texas to continue ruining the conference but OU being a Big 8 brother and doing this just hits harder to me. I wanted a traitors chant myself.
