Couple of questions maybe you can answer?
Why announce this now? Is it simply for recruiting purposes?
If Veatch is the new AD....then why not announce that 1st....then let him make the announcement Officially as the AD?
If Veatch isn't the new AD, then why strap the new AD with a BB coach he may not want?
There didn't seem to be any reason to rush this announcement...It's hard for me to believe that they had to just for a recruit or two.
