band moving to dedicated, elevated, space in NE corner is a good thing for them, the students and fans in general. Students gain more sideline 'seating' (standing) area that the band has previously occupied. Fans have band elevated and facing into the stadium from the corner that will be seen and heard much better throughout the stadium. The band gets dedicated area with there own direct field access, storage for their game day equipment, wider aisles, wider seating areas, all around a great improvement
Not so good news in the Q & A link. The south video board, stat boards, new surround sound system and limestone wall NOT occurring this off season. Thought for sure the sound system and south boards would get included in the project
Announcing they have passed $10 mil towards the $15 mil goal but only a month away from when they hope to break ground after West Virginia game. Also state not taking on any "long-term" debt so sounds like there is an outside possibility that if another $2-3 mil is not raised in the next month they are potentially in a position to hold off. Sure don't think that will happen but sounds like they are continuing to provide themselves an out for this year if they can't get funding to 75-80% range to start from the current 67%
