With all this expansion talk I pose the question:
Would you rather win a national championship and then shit hits the fan and we find ourselves out of a major conference (but not necessarily out of the running to win a national championship...just obviously much harder) OR never win that coveted national championship (in your lifetime anyway) but always stay in a major conference?

Oh and we are talking football and basketball.
