- Will not have to pay cancellation fees with UND or Buffalo. Both sides agreed it was a mutual cancellation and wiped it off the table. Talks about playing in the future, though.
- Fans in the stands is still something to be figured out. Know there will be a limit but do not know what the limit will be. Up to Riley County health officials.
- Players wanted to play, but they also wanted to be safe. They heard them out and put in extra guidelines for that. They were already testing once a week and that will go to 3x a week (One PCR and the other two can be other tests). They were already doing EKG and echocardiogram on positive tests but were advised to take another step and do the MRI as well and they will also do that.
- Arkansas State talks started weeks ago. There were 4 other schools that reached out as well but Arkansas State stuff moved quickly. They offered to help Arkansas State adhere to Big 12 standards and they will be happy to do that.
- There is built in flexibility to start Big 12 season in first week of October, if necessary. Schedule was also built to reschedule games on bye weeks if necessary and can push end date back if necessary.
- They said they got the go ahead last night for sure when on the call with not just team doctors, and not just Big 12 doctors, but also the best the pulmonologists, cardiologists and infectious disease experts in region/country.
- At any point if they have to pull the plug, they are prepared to pivot and react quickly with alternative plans.
