..... that, back in late Jan./early Feb.,when we lost those games back-to-back against KU and WVU -- the latter in truly humiliating fashion -- I thought we were done. I thought that would take the air out of this team, and that we would have to settle for an NIT bid. I truly never saw this coming.
But these guys, much to their magnificent credit, never gave up -- not on the coaching staff, and most definitely not on each other. These last three games -- and particularly the last two -- are collectively one of my most satisfying experiences in the 50-plus years I've followed K-State sports. Couldn't be more proud of this team.
And I really feel like we're not finished yet...
