I've never been a Bruce fan. Winning one game in the tournament as a "real" underdog doesn't change the past several years of disappointment. Even in our wins in the tourney our offense was truly abysmal. A few passes, dribble around until the shot clock is about to expire and drive the hoop or take a contested jumper....that was the extent of our "offense". All that said, how in the hell did we just make an elite 8 without our best, and all Big 12 first team player? We weren't a very good team with Dean let alone without him. I'm not sure how to feel about all this.
