I have been reading how terrible junior college basketball is. I will not argue that it is at the level of play before prep schools became popular.
However, I go to the national tournament every year and while their are not as many high level players as there used to be, I still see a lot of players who will be playing some pretty high level basketball in college. Lots of major college coaches there in person looking for players such as Kruger, Huggins and Weber. And if not there, lots of assistants from high majors are.
This is the list of the top 150 juco players and who they signed with.
OU, WVU, TT, WSU and KSU have all signed juco players for next year. WVU has two guys signed.
Sloan is ranked number 26 on this list and it has not been updated to indicate his signing with KSU.
