There's an unmistakable air of Cyclone optimism about the upcoming football season with:
1 --- a new, highly-energetic head coach,
2 --- an expanded and enclosed football stadium which is now the 3rd largest in the Big 12,
3 --- a group of returning starters that includes the Big 12's top running back, and
4 --- an impressive recruiting class.
I thought Iowa State had a much-improved roster of athletes last year when we took advantage of a late fumble to win with a field goal at BSFS. Ames is always a tough venue and I am concerned about that road game without the likes of Adam Helm to bail us out.
