1. Went 31-7 at Ranger C.C. this season (actually 35-3, had to forfeit 4 early games due to a paper mix up)
2. Strong Texas recruiting ties....coached at UTEP, Texas A&M & Texas Tech...as well as Ranger in Fort Worth
3. Would bring added benefit of Head Coaching experience at 3 Power 5 schools...Texas A&M, Kentucky & Texas Tech
4. Probably looking to get another chance to finish his career in D-1
5. K-State could pay an assistant more than Ranger is paying a HC
6. Would give Coach Weber the fiery Assistant they are missing.....might give Billy Clyde a chance to hit the reset button by being connected to a squeaky clean Coach like Weber.
Interesting side note.....Tracy Webster was an assistant for Coach Weber at Illinois & with Coach Gillispie at Kentucky.
