Feels that his miss is the reason they did not go to OT. Just guessing, but I don't think it made any difference. Belichick is not a coach that is addicted to not losing in regulation. I think he would have realized that considering the difficulty they had moving the ball the entire game his best chance of winning the game was going for 2. Same result except the score is 20-19.
