Has the SEC over committed to their geographical holding in the SE portion of the USA? I know they're the dominate force right now, and it'll be a long-time before they're dethroned. But the fallout of OU and somewhat Texas, has me thinking they won't fair well in the SEC. If the SEC is adding a couple dogs and not really adding much footprint, I guess I don't see the long-term value, especially if those are no longer winning programs. If we're consolidating college football, doesn't it make sense to do it on a national level (Non-revenue probably move more regional). The Big 12 even seems better positioned than the SEC does at this point.

Seems to me, with the transfer portal and NIL the mobility of players and coaches is off the charts. Plus, coaches aren't wanting to go into the meat grinder that is the SEC. The balance of power appears to be cracking a bit, even if it's a really ugly transition.
