For everyone on this board that is calling for Coach Snyder’s retirement, shame on you. No one… Absolutely no one person has done more greater good for Kansas State University than Bill Snyder. His accomplishments since 1988 are unmatched in the sports world. Being a part of the Bill Snyder era of K-State Football is absolute history in the making and most of you complaining are not old enough to comprehend what Kansas State Football was like before he came here. Most of you will never even understand the sacrifices he made, that previous staff made, administration made and community members in Manhattan made that bought into his vision to build what we have today. Bill Snyder made Kansas State University into what it is today and it’s not just about football. So much of the success of Kansas State University, as a whole, over the past three decades is a direct result of what he has accomplished. This is a Cal Ripken Jr., Tom Brady, and Michael Jordan “Once In a Lifetime” type of coach. Have you ever had a bad day at work? I have had many. Has this season met expectations? Obviously not. Are there issues with associate coaches? Obviously so. But how dare we discount and subsidize so many… SO MANY great and wonderful memories he and his teams have given us because we are so spoiled that we think we deserve better. Bill Snyder deserves better and he has earned it – PERIOD. This man, at his age, battled through cancer and chemo treatments to come back to a bunch of entitled, spoiled fans. Shame on us. Whether you like Dana Dimel, Tom Hayes or Sean Snyder as coaches is irrelevant anymore. If you are truly a K-Stater, then you get behind the man when his chips are down. We don’t turn our backs and run when things get hard – We pick each other up and support one other. Put your opinions aside for one more month and start supporting the Legendary Hall of Fame Football Coach Bill Snyder
