-Do you know if Michael Porter Jr. will be playing soon? (polite laughter)
-Performance in first half at OSU.....talk about that? My jaw was dropping. It was such good basketball. Looked like a Jack Hartman team in their lavenders, cutting them apart on offense and playing tenacious defense.
-Then, Stockard and Wainright make big plays.....Stokes hits a couple.....you're up 17 without Barry or Dean going off. And, OSU has 20 points at half. So, you think in the back of your mind something HAS to happen in second half to tighten things up......but K-State is as good or better. They really stayed locked in all game.
-Best news is they are done with top three teams, right? Yeah, but, that doesn't reconcile with fact that everyone says the conference is equal, top to bottom. But yes, they seem to match up better with teams left on their schedule. It's to the point where if they just take care of home games, they are fine. They would be solidly in tournament.
-What were keys in first ISU rout? Dean Wade showed he was going to play at another level. That started that day. Barry drove to the basket more. It wasn't easy as it seemed, but just outplayed them start to finish. Never let ISU get momentum.
-It's crazy, but the games at ISU, OSU, Baylor, TX.......they were locked in better than they ever have been at home. That needs to change.
