Just curious why he is so high on our list given 1) Gene apparently prefers HC experience, and 2) no one else has previously hired Tang and he has been an assistant for I believe 19 years. If he’s that good, why hasn’t someone hired him before? I’m certainly not saying assistant coaches can’t be good HC, but 19 years and all of sudden he’s such a hot commodity????
