I think his quirky ways are so counter-coaching that it pushes players who are new to him. If he's stays heavily slanted toward transfer talent and then giving them the year one Bruce-boost he probably sticks around for a few more. We'll see

Sure there are examples of individuals improving year over year (Pack and other self-driven studs) but the norm with Bruce for returning guys is stagnation/backsliding and discontent.
