The seeds were planted years ago! Before the Internet, before or at the time of TV, and the Wichita Beacon news, the sports news was all Shockers in Western Ks! The early TV out of Wichita ( our only coverage ) the sports carried the Shocks! If KState played the coverage on TV was not there and the Beacon carried the Shocks on page one while the Cats would be on page 4! The media played a big part of the WSU hate!! just a fyi!
