Big 12 Week 4 Predictions

OSU@ISU--First team to 17 wins! I'd take ISU only because it is in Ames. ISU 17 OSU 13

Texas@Baylor--Before the season this was touted as a possible Texas loss. How has Baylor gotten so bad so fast? Still not sold on Texas "return" but Baylor is not really much of a threat. Texas 35 Baylor 14

BYU@KU--Vegas had this game open with KU at a 7 point favorite. KU looked bad against a REALLY BAD Nevada team last week. I think this game will be uber close. KU gets the nod because they are playing at home. KU 27 BYU 24

TT@WV--WV has quietly been one of the most consistent performers in the league. Definitely showing that they are not the worst team in the league. Tech must have this game if they plan on being a player for the league. I don't know why but I'm placing more stock in WV play over Techs in a close game. UPSET ALERT WV 24 TT 23

OU@CINCI--OU the better team. Since this is the first league game OU will not overlook the bearcats. I think OU will roll pretty easily. Line is 14.5. That is a lot of points but I see OU easily winning. OU 42 Cincinnati 17

SMU@TCU--TCU is the better team. I think this will probably be a one score game. TCU 35 SMU 30

UCF@KSU--Scary game for KSU. I think KSU defense is better than UCF defense. Another close game but with the game in Manhattan I like KSU more. KSU 30 UCF 24

No one on EMAW has addressed the bad coaching last week and the fact that we fell out of the Top 25!

There were some really bad coaching decisions last week that no one here wants to address. The team looked sloppy and unprepared, which probably played a big part in us dropping more that 10 spots, and out of the rankings. No one said a thing about us falling out of the rankings either. I guess we're giving the coaches a pass!

UAW strike

Even the roar from Congressional critics about assembly line largesse seemed to miss the fact that (according to the UAW) labor costs account for about 10 percent of the cost of producing a vehicle; the remaining 90 percent includes research and development, parts, advertising, marketing and management overhead.
