How K-State can beat UCF: Transition points

UCF is one of the best defensive teams in the country, ranking 21st on the defensive side. They hold their opponents to 38% shooting from the floor. It'll be tough for the Wildcats to score in the half-court offense, so defensive rebounding and getting fastbreak points will be key for the Wildcats tonight.

They lost their Defensive Coordinator Ted Roof. BV will have a new staff next year.

looking for 2 Shamrock tickets to the men’s bb game tomorrow 12-6-24 v UCF. My son sits in the student section but trying to get him to Shamrock with me before the game….we’re all Cats fans of course.

We play Oklahoma State twice along with West Virginia. UCF we only play once at home. So we should have 5 wins against them teams not 4. Unless I'm missing something?

Guard Ques Glover underwent surgery after suffering a setback/other injury in his attempt to return to play, per Tang.

He would not offer any other update. I believe Glover would be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, should he not play this year.

K-State basketball has returned from Christmas Break and is back in action tonight against Chicago State.

I'm not first on this (I believe GoPowercat was), but I confirm that K-State is looking at bringing in Matt Wells to their offensive staff. I'm not sure of the role, but I think this will get done.

Wells was an analyst at Oklahoma last season and was previously the head coach at Texas Tech and Utah State. Was also the OC at Utah State.

Klieman and Wells are "close friends", so the move makes sense.

Some disappointing news here. It would be nice to get Glover in action before Big 12 play but it doesn’t appear it will be that way.
